Mr. Hachey represents Boston area hospitals and over 30 skilled nursing facilities regarding probate, guardianship, mental health litigation, agency appeals and general litigation. He has extensive experience with issues specific to long term care providers, such as informed consent for treatment, substituted judgment determinations for antipsychotic treatment and end of life care as well as matters involving involuntary discharge, delinquent accounts or fraud, appeals before the Board of Hearings and litigation in the District and Superior Courts. Mr. Hachey has lectured before professional associations, hospitals and nursing homes. He also represents fiduciaries with regard to accounts/inventories, trust modification, real estate matters and settlement of accounts. Mr. Hachey and his wife Molly have three children and live in Norwood, where he serves as an elected member of the Norwood Planning Board.
